Seattle’s Kraken just landed Chuck Fletcher as a Senior Advisor to the GM — a veteran with deep NHL roots, having worked with the Devils, Penguins, Flyers, and Wild. Known for both big wins (like helping the Ducks win the Cup in 2003) and controversial moves (tough contracts with Minnesota, quiet trade deadlines with Philly), Fletcher brings a mixed legacy. Fans are eager to see if his analytics-leaning perspective can shake up the team’s cautious approach and push them back into playoff contention. With Jason Botterill still calling the shots, Fletcher’s influence will be closely watched — and hopefully, it’ll bring the fresh energy Seattle desperately needs.
