Pascal Vincent, the coach who turned chaos into coaching gold, is stepping into his new role with the Seattle Kraken. Forced to take over the Columbus Blue Jackets just four days before training camp in 2023, he navigated a season of injuries, losing streaks, and a fired GM — all while turning adversity into growth. Though he was let go after one turbulent year, his resilience and adaptability, honed during his successful stint coaching the Canadiens’ AHL affiliate and now amplified by his deep coaching philosophy, make him the perfect fit to help Kraken head coach Lane Lambert elevate Seattle’s offense — a glaring weakness last season. With no flashy playing career behind him, Vincent brings a rare empathy for players’ struggles and a relentless drive to evolve, both as a coach and as a mentor — ready to help young talent rise while staying ahead of the game’s curve.
