Dean Court is Upgrading... Will It Still Feel Like Home?

Dean Court is changing. And we have feelings about it.Because this isn't just a stadium expansion. This is the end of something. The faded red seats that have been there longer than most Bournemouth fans can remember are being replaced with new black ones. The corners that have always been open — letting the wind in, letting the noise out — are being filled in. The South Stand that generations of Cherries fans have stood and sat in is being demolished and rebuilt from scratch. By the time it's all done, the Vitality Stadium will hold 20,200 people. Almost double what it does now.And we're excited. We genuinely are. European football is coming. Bigger crowds are coming. Proper broadcast facilities, new hospitality, TV studios — Dean Court is finally becoming a stadium that matches the club's ambitions.
