Life doesn’t fall neatly into “good vibes only”, and when you’re in the thick of it, forced optimism can make you feel worse. I’m Rachael, a modern-day Feng Shui consultant, and I’m back on the Everyday Feng Shui podcast after a longer break than I planned. I’m recording from the school pickup queue, because right now I’m choosing “possible” over “perfect” and I want you to feel allowed to do the same.
I talk honestly about a tough stretch at home, the pressure I feel to show up responsibly, and why I went quiet when I wasn’t feeling great. From there, I share the single mindset shift that has helped me breathe again: “we’ll see”. Rooted in Taoism and closely aligned with the origins of Feng Shui, it’s a way to stop judging every moment as success or failure and start accepting that there are multiple outcomes still on the table.
We also get into what I’ve been learning behind the scenes while things have been hard: deeper, multi-layered Feng Shui approaches that blend the energetics of your home with your own personal energy. I explain why the traditional wealth area is only part of the story, how compass direction and qi flow can reveal more personalised prosperity alignments, and why even where you sit and which direction you face can matter when you’re trying to move life forward.
