When you’re doing the vision boards, shifting the energy in your home, taking the courses, and trying to stay positive, a setback can feel like a punch in the gut.
The job offer that didn't arrive.
The relationship that fell apart.
You get made redundant.
And suddenly the big question.....how am I meant to trust feng shui, manifestation, or any energetic concept when life looks like the opposite of what I’m calling in?
Today I’m talking honestly about what trust looks like when things feel catastrophic. I share a personal story about having a corporate career that ticked every “success” box, then being made redundant while pregnant and feeling like my identity got stripped away. With hindsight, that moment becomes a turning point into self-employment, flexibility, and the skills I later needed to build a business that actually fits my life. Not because pain is magically good, but because detours can still be deeply aligned.
We also get practical about mindset and action. I talk about why control is such a natural response, how to practise surrender without sitting back and waiting, and why keeping a small window open with “we’ll see” can stop you blocking the very opportunities you’re asking for.
If you’re working on home energy, personal energy, or any kind of spiritual growth, this will help you stay steady when results arrive in an unexpected shape.
If it resonates, follow the podcast, share it with someone who’s having a wobble, and leave a review so more people can find this support. What are you trying to trust through right now?
Lots of love,
Rachael xx
