Let Your Glory Fill This Place

'Let Your Glory Fill This Place' was written by Thomas D. Sterbens and is powerfully combined with the song 'Oh The Glory of Your Presence' which was written by Steve Fry. 'Let Your Glory Fill This Place' utilizes the biblical account of Solomon's temple dedication to express a prayer for God's presence to fill a present-day worship place. This great song moves between recounting the historical moment when the divine glory overwhelmed the ancient temple and requesting that same powerful presence in today's gathering place.

'Let Your Glory Fill This Place' is one of the songs released from a Hosanna! Integrity Music project entitled 'Sing Out With One Voice' and was Recorded at Carpenter's Home Church' in Lakeland, Florida with Worship Leader Ron Kenoly and was Produced and Arranged by Tom Brooks.

'Let Your Glory Fill This Place' presents the worship location as both a physical structure and a spiritual community where believers unite in prayer. The lyrics contrast "brick and stone" with the deeper purpose of creating "a home" for worship and healing, emphasizing that the building's value lies in its spiritual function rather than its materials.

The repeated phrase "more than we can stand" connects the overwhelming nature of God's glory in Solomon's time with the singer's desire for that same intensity today. This song identifies the worship place as specifically designed "for the brokenhearted everywhere", positioning the worship gathering as a place of care and restoration for those seeking spiritual comfort.
