Sometimes the moment you start to enjoy yourself is the moment you remember what hurts. In this guided somatic practice, Britt Piper, Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, gently explores what it's like to let a small, good moment in while grief is still present. You won't be asked to revisit painful memories, produce gratitude, or feel anything in particular. Instead, you'll orient to the room around you, find one detail that feels neutral or a little supportive, and practice letting your attention move between what you're carrying and what's available right now. Eyes open, at your own pace, with full permission to skip, adjust, or stop. Because a moment of ease doesn't erase what mattered, and you don't have to finish grieving to receive something good.
