Matthew 6:34

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. 


Sometimes we can carry the weight of a day that hasn't even arrived yet.

We think about tomorrow's responsibilities, next week's decisions, the bills that will eventually come due, conversations we may have to face, or problems that haven't even happened. Before we know it, we are experiencing today's stress over tomorrow's possibilities.

But God never intended for us to live that way.

There is great peace in learning to live one day at a time—trusting God today and refusing to allow the pressures of tomorrow to rob us of the peace available to us right now.
