Galatians 6:9

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

There are seasons when we are doing the right things, sowing the right seeds, praying, serving, working, and believing—and yet we do not immediately see the results we hoped for. Those seasons can test our endurance. Weariness can whisper that our effort is wasted and tempt us to stop just before the harvest.

But God’s Word encourages us to remain steadfast. Our responsibility is not to control the timing of the harvest; our responsibility is to remain faithful in the sowing.
