Every day we are being shaped by something. The world continually pressures us to think according to fear, frustration, comparison, anxiety, and emotional reaction. News cycles influence us. Culture influences us. Difficult situations attempt to define us. Even our own feelings can try to become the loudest voice in our lives.

Yet God never designed for believers to live directed by unstable circumstances. He calls us to live from a renewed mind—a mind shaped by truth rather than by temporary conditions.


Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
