College is one of the first times in your life where you suddenly have SO much freedom… and absolutely no idea what you’re supposed to do with it.
In this episode, I’m giving you all of the college advice I wish every girl heard before freshman year. We’re talking about making friends, finding your people, dating in college, hookup culture, partying safely, relationships, breakups, mental health, ADHD, confidence, and learning how to actually take care of yourself when you’re finally on your own.
I also want to talk about something I think gets forgotten in all the excitement around college: you do not have to lose yourself just because everyone around you is changing.
You don’t have to participate in hookup culture because everyone else is. You don’t have to party every night to have the “college experience.” You don’t have to stay friends with people who make you feel lonely. And you definitely don’t have to lower your standards just because dating in college can feel like the Wild West.
College is supposed to be a time where you figure out who YOU are — not a four-year audition to get everyone around you to like you.
So whether you’re an incoming freshman, already in college, or just entering a new chapter of independence, I hope this episode feels like having an older sister sitting down and telling you everything you actually need to know.
