ヒューマンドラマの深読みは正直得意じゃないんですが、それでも楽しく語れました。ハリウッドとはまた違う、ドイツ映画ならではのテイストも新鮮でしたね。
自閉症の息子ジェイソンと、週末ごとにサッカースタジアムを巡るパパ・ミルコ。特性と向き合う本人と家族の心の交流、そして子どもと社会との間に立つ家族の苦悩。やがて訪れる「巣立ち」を意識しながらも、ありのままを受け入れることの難しさと温かさが丁寧に描かれています。

Deep reading of human drama isn't exactly Mako's strongest suit, but this one was genuinely enjoyable to talk through. There's also something refreshing about the texture of German cinema — a different flavour entirely from Hollywood.
The story follows Jason, a ten-year-old with autism, and his father Mirko, who spends every available weekend driving him to football stadiums across Germany. What unfolds is a portrait of a child and his family navigating the world together — the friction between a kid with his own way of being and a society that wasn't designed with him in mind, and the quiet ache of a parent who knows that someday his son will have to face it alone. The warmth and difficulty of accepting someone exactly as they are comes through in every scene.
