In this week's podcast we get into four ancient Ayurvedic terms about digestion and vitality: Agni, Mala, Ama, and Ojas.
We discuss: Agni — your digestive fire that breaks down food and "digests" experiences and emotions too; Mala — the natural waste your body's meant to eliminate; Ama — the sludge that builds up when Agni isn't doing its job and waste isn't clearing properly; and finally, Ojas — the reserve of vitality and resilience you're left with when everything upstream is working as it should.
Four words, one thread: how well you digest life shows up in how well you live it... and vice versa.
Emma and Andy try to keep their podcasts light-hearted and unedited, wherever possible, allowing for a more natural conversation style and an authentic representation of their characters. They aim to provide information and entertainment by mixing their knowledge, research and personal experiences with debate and (occasional) opposing view points. :-)
