What an exciting and spiritual time. Samhain and Halloween is just days away. How are you spending it? During this episode I discussed what it means to me to celebrate Samhain traditionally with ritual going on my third year now. It is such a powerful time of year, the thinning of the veil. Two years ago, my spirit guide, who was somebody who had died two years previous, Jesse McPhee, came through. We have been connected since.Additionally, I discuss how in North America, people of all ages love to celebrate Halloween. Kids go trick-or-treating, teenagers dress up to party because they’re sad they are too old for going door to door, adults party, and others are excited that they have kids they can use as an excuse to go out again!I drink here a rare Japanese green tea called Goishi Cha. “Game of Fruit” - the tea is double fermented and formed in square chunks to resemble pieces from the game “Go”. Beautiful fruity notes come through this one.
Another very exciting thing is that I am opening up spaces to teach gongfu cha, or tea ceremony. Many people are looking to understand why I am so passionate about this craft. They want to know more and I am honouring this by beginning to open up space to teach new devotees about our beloved leaf!
