And so does a new contest I’m running through my publishing company, Peacock Poetry Publishing! A chance to submit poems of a particular theme (soon revealed) to be published in a poetry collective! Publication will require enrollment in a group coaching program called My Poetry Era. This is the coolest thing that I’ll have run, and SO looking forward to seeing many of you submit!!!
In this episode I finish off a sheng puerh tea cake called Ku Zhu Shan (2020). Ceremoniously the end of a cycle, we’ll say, as it was first cracked open 2 years ago, right as I was closing the tea house. Now it comes to a close, recorded and remembered through this podcast.
Topics explored are the change of season into October, rain blessing the earth, door decoration, tasting & feeling rather than forcing flavour identification, the color of this tea that matches Halloween!! Pumpkin beer (or tea? so far, the tea has tasted better this year!), poetry publishing contest -> My Poetry Era coaching program.
I don’t know if this episode is about much more than me being silly and rambling on a microphone/video, but there is a section when I get high over finding used cloth masks at a thrift store, recalling the propaganda of the pandemic and how the collective their narrative about how disease spreads.
