Today, we’re joined by No. 1 New York Times and Sunday Times author, Lisa Jewell. Lisa has written 24 novels and has sold over 10 million books worldwide.
In this conversation, Lisa opens up about her first marriage, where she was a victim of coercive control and emotional abuse. Lisa found herself in her 20s, isolated from her friends and family, and stuck in a situation she felt she couldn’t escape. It wasn’t until Lisa met her now-husband that she felt safe enough to leave. Lisa also speaks about how these experiences have helped to shape her writing, and how she feels about her two daughters dating in 2026.
