The Japanese Airline Flight 1628 Encounter – Giant Craft Over Alaska (1986)

Dela

In November 1986, Japan Air Lines Flight 1628, a Boeing 747 cargo aircraft, was flying over Alaska when Captain Kenju Terauchi and his crew observed a series of bright unidentified lights pacing their aircraft. The objects maneuvered around the plane, changing position and speed in ways that did not resemble conventional aircraft.

As the encounter continued, the crew reported seeing a much larger object behind the smaller lights—an enormous dark craft that appeared far larger than any known aircraft. Air traffic controllers and military radar systems reportedly detected unusual targets in the area, providing partial radar confirmation of the event.

The encounter lasted for an extended period, during which the objects seemed to follow the aircraft despite altitude and course changes. After the flight landed safely in Anchorage, investigators reviewed pilot testimony, radar data, and controller reports.

While skeptics suggested explanations involving planets, atmospheric effects, or radar anomalies, none fully accounted for the combination of experienced pilot observations, radar contacts, and reports of a massive structured object.

The Flight 1628 case remains one of the most significant aviation UFO incidents ever recorded, notable for its duration, multiple witnesses, and the alleged presence of a gigantic unidentified craft over Alaska.
