In 2015, a U.S. Navy infrared targeting system recorded the mysterious object later known as GIMBAL. The footage shows an unidentified target that appears to rotate while pilots react with surprise, making it one of the most famous modern UAP videos. While some interpret the movement as evidence of unusual flight technology, others argue that infrared glare and sensor optics may explain the apparent rotation. The Pentagon later confirmed the footage was authentic, but the object's identity remains unresolved.
