I've had a version of the same conversation with a friend of mine for three months in a row. She comes to me with a plan. I give feedback. A month later, she comes back with basically the same plan again — and has no idea she's already been here.

That's when I went looking for an explanation, and I found a study that stopped me in my tracks. It's about what happens to your brain when you let an AI do too much of your thinking for you — and it's a lot more common than you'd think, even among people who consider themselves "good" at using AI.

This episode isn't about whether you should use AI. I use it constantly. It's about the difference between using it to execute and using it to think — and why that difference is quietly becoming the thing that separates businesses that are thriving right now from businesses that are just... busy.

I'm sharing the study, the four things I don't think AI will ever be able to replace, and the one habit shift that's made the biggest difference in how I use AI in my own business.

🎙️ In This Episode:

  • The study that made me rethink how much I'm letting AI "help" me strategize
  • Why so many business owners are stuck in a loop they don't even realize they're in
  • The real difference between using AI to execute vs. using AI to think
  • Four things that AI can't replace, no matter how good it gets
  • The one shift that's changed how I use AI day to day
