What happens to the things we spend a lifetime collecting when we're no longer here to hold onto them?

I've spent the last few days back in London, sorting through my family home and going through my dad's possessions following his passing.

It's been emotional, sometimes difficult, and unexpectedly thought-provoking.

Because an object can be just an object — until it belongs to somebody you love.

Suddenly a photograph, a piece of clothing, something tucked away in a drawer or an everyday possession can seem to contain an entire story.

In this short solo episode of Soul Sync, I reflect on what this experience has made me think about: our attachment to possessions, the memories and energy we associate with physical things, and whether objects can somehow become a doorway back into the people and moments connected with them.

I also share a little about where I am personally right now — a period of enormous change, what I've been working through within myself, and where my own mediumship and curiosity about consciousness are taking me.

Perhaps letting go of someone's belongings doesn't mean letting go of them at all.

Perhaps love was never contained within the thing.

Perhaps love is simply what remains.

The episode closes with Love by Noa Bentor, licensed via Artlist.

And before I leave you with this beautiful track, I’d really love to hear from you.

If there’s somebody you think would make a wonderful guest on Soul Sync, a topic you’d love us to explore, or perhaps you have a story, experience or perspective of your own that you’d like to share on the show, please get in touch.

Soul Sync is ultimately about real people, real experiences and the conversations that help us understand ourselves, each other and this strange, beautiful thing called life a little more deeply.

I’d genuinely love to hear from you.
