Joshua is charged with leading the Israelites into the promised land, encouraged by God to be strong and courageous. The people prepare to cross the Jordan, and spies are sent into Jericho, where Rahab protects them and secures safety for her family. Miraculously, the Jordan River parts, allowing the Israelites to cross on dry ground, and memorial stones are set up to remember God’s power. Once across, the people renew their covenant through circumcision and celebrate Passover, as Joshua encounters the commander of the Lord’s army, affirming divine guidance for the battles ahead.
