In this passge Jesus prays deeply for His disciples and all future believers, asking for their unity and protection. He is then arrested, tried before the Jewish leaders and Pilate, and ultimately crucified. After His death and burial, the empty tomb is discovered, Jesus appears to Mary Magdalene and later to His disciples, bringing peace and commissioning them.
