Wanting to lose body fat, build muscle, or feel better in your body is one thing. Being willing to live the lifestyle attached to that goal is another.
In this episode, I'm talking about the tradeoffs that come with changing your body—and why "sustainable" does not mean effortless, convenient, or never having to say no.
We'll get into what you're actually willing to pay for the outcome you want, how much uncertainty you can tolerate when progress isn't immediately obvious, why your own thoughts are part of your environment, and how much modern life is built to keep you comfortable.
Because sometimes taking care of yourself means cooking when takeout would be easier, training when you don't feel like it, tolerating a little hunger, going to bed instead of watching another episode, or choosing not to have something simply because there's something you want more.
Every result has a lifestyle attached to it.
The question is whether you actually want that lifestyle too.
