Today we're talking about getting back up when life knocks you down. Proverbs 24:16 says, “For a righteous person falls seven times and rises again.” Falling doesn't mean you've failed. What matters is that you get back up and keep moving forward.
Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason talk about how easy it can be to stay down after a difficult season, a failed relationship, a job loss, disappointment, or even a setback in your faith. But God doesn't want you to remain stuck. He wants to lift you out of the pit and get you moving again.
Just like stagnant water becomes unhealthy when it stops moving, our lives can become stagnant when we stop pursuing the dreams, purposes, and plans God has placed inside us. Movement creates momentum.
Even if you've fallen seven times, get back up. Your setback isn't the end of your story. God can bring resurrection power and new life into places that look completely lost.
Today can be the day you get back up, start moving again, and believe that God still has something ahead for you.
