Today we're talking about putting joy into your future by getting your priorities in the right order. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus says to “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,” reminding us that God's value system is different from the world's.
Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason talk about how the things we value determine where we spend our time, energy, and resources. When we put the wrong things first, we can end up with regret, bitterness, and frustration. But when we align our priorities with God's Word, we can begin to experience greater peace and joy.
They also discuss forgiveness and how holding onto resentment can affect every area of our lives. When we choose God's way—even when forgiveness doesn't feel fair—we make room for peace instead of bitterness and put joy into our future.
This message is a reminder that God's Kingdom works differently from the world's system. Instead of seeking to be loved, we learn to love. Instead of taking, we learn to give. Instead of getting even, we learn to give grace. When we seek God first and learn His ways, He begins to reshape our hearts, priorities, and future.
