Murray Rising, Trade Deadline Questions, and Vikings Defense Standouts — Dave Stefano and Darren Campbell discuss the Vikings’ offensive turnaround over the last six quarters, highlighted by 364 yards vs. the Saints, improved third-down efficiency, and Kyler Murray’s decisiveness, short-game success, and timely running, while questioning sustainability given weak Dolphins and Saints defenses. They argue continuity should improve as starters return after the bye (Jordan Mason, T.J. Hockenson, Christian Darrisaw, possibly Jordan Addison) despite Donovan Jackson and Josh Oliver being out long term, and note Kevin O’Connell’s increased shotgun/pistol usage. With the Vikings 5-0 and the trade deadline nearing, they debate whether GM Nolan Teasley will buy, citing needs at guard, tight end depth, running back insurance, and defensive line/edge, while downplaying Jauan Jennings trade rumors. They highlight CB Isaiah Rodgers’ elite play and discuss Harrison Smith’s reduced snap count and early struggles, plus limited rookie snap usage mostly on special teams.
