One of our goats decided to give birth in the bush, hiding her two babies in two different places. That evening, she came back to sleep as usual, but without her babies!
The next day, we tried to find them, without success. Around 11 a.m., a neighbour brought us one of the baby goats. But that evening, unlike her usual routine, the mother didn't come home. Morgan went looking for her and found her lying in the bush, protecting her second baby.
She had probably realised that her first baby had disappeared and had decided to stay with the second one. Morgan brought them back, and the whole little family was finally reunited.
A lovely story of maternal instinct in the heart of Semowi!
