In this episode ‘Feminist Business and Collective Flourishing’, I'm joined by Jennifer Armbrust (she/they), founder of Sister and Feminist Business School, and author of Proposals for the Feminine Economy, The Business Birthing Handbook, and her most recent book, Feminist Flourishing Framework.
Jenn has been at the forefront of feminist entrepreneurship for over a decade, and this conversation reflects the depth and rigour of that body of work. We move through what it actually means to build a feminist business, not just in principle but in practice, including how feminist consciousness functions as both a political and healing framework, why values without embodied belief systems collapse under pressure, and how our individual bodies are both shaped by and capable of reshaping the collective body we share.
We also discuss what Jenn calls the flourishing feminist epoch: what it is, why she believes it is already being built, and what it asks of us. This is a conversation about what it looks like to stop theorising a better world and start living one.
