In this episode of Jessica Meils the Podcast, I’m exploring astrology through the lens I use in my own life and with my clients: not as a rulebook, but as a pathway toward awareness, embodiment, and self-trust.
Your natal chart can reveal patterns, natural gifts, how you communicate and process emotion, and where you may experience growth, sensitivity, expansion, or transformation.
But your chart isn’t an authority outside of you.
It’s YOUR blueprint.
Learning about it should ultimately make you more curious about yourself—not more dependent on someone else to tell you what happens next.
I share pieces of my own birth chart, including how my Virgo Rising, Leo Moon, Mercury in Libra, Uranus in the 3rd house, and Cancer 11th-house placements have helped me understand the way I communicate, intuit, create, teach, and gather people.
I’m not sharing my placements because your path should look like mine.
My hope is that hearing me explore my blueprint makes you curious about YOURS.
Because this work is about evolution and embodiment—recognizing what is uniquely yours and learning how to live it.
We also explore spiritual discernment and what happens when astrology, intuitive guidance, readings, or someone else’s content begins pulling you away from your own knowing.
Without discernment, guidance can become a fear loop:
Tell me what’s happening.
Tell me what this means.
Tell me what’s next.
For me, spiritual and somatic work should ultimately help neutralize the system—not keep us dependent on another person for certainty.
