Egyptian mythology horror podcast Long Night in Egypt reaches its first breaking point — the Egyptian underworld is not a metaphor, and not everyone survives the Duat.
In ancient Egyptian belief, the soul is composed of multiple parts — the Ba, the Ka, the Ren, the Sheut, and the Akh, the imperishable spirit that survives death if the soul passes judgment. The students are no longer entirely certain they are in the physical pyramid. The tunnels have changed. The air is different. And one of them has not responded in twenty minutes.
