Egyptian mythology horror podcast Long Night in Egypt plunges into total darkness — and the thing in the tunnels moves closer.
The battery packs failed without warning. They are forty minutes into a tunnel system they have not fully mapped, in total darkness, with no way to tell which direction leads back to the entrance and which leads deeper. In ancient Egyptian funerary texts, the darkness of the Duat is described not as an absence of light but as a substance — something alive, something with weight and intention. The students are beginning to understand what that means.
