Your body isn’t something to constantly fix, shrink, criticize, or obsess over.

For so many people, body image feels heavy. You may not even realize how often you think about your body until you hear a child talk about hers with simplicity, curiosity, and zero spiral-y overthinking. And if you’ve spent years feeling disconnected from or disappointed in your body, it can feel almost strange to imagine seeing it as good.

In today’s episode, you’ll hear the final conversation in my 5-part Tiny Talks series with my six-year-old daughter. We’re talking about body image, what kids notice about their bodies, and the very honest things they would change if given the chance. It’s sweet, funny, a little unhinged in the best way, and such a tender reminder that food freedom and body freedom don’t have to be nearly as complicated as diet culture has made them feel.

A few things you can expect to hear in this episode include…

🌈 The body “upgrade” my six-year-old would choose, and honestly, it’s pretty iconic

🧒 A surprise sibling cameo with a very bold take on what would make bodies even cooler

💛 A tender reminder about why YOUR body is good, even when you don’t always feel that way

🧠 A simple kid-perspective moment on what happens when you stop thinking about your body all the time

🎙️ A sweet wrap-up to the Tiny Talks series, and why you’ll want to go back and listen to all five episodes
