What if your body has been trying to talk to you… and you just need to learn how to listen?

When you’ve spent years following food rules, ignoring hunger, pushing past fullness, or second-guessing every craving, trusting your body can feel really confusing. You may wonder if your hunger is “real,” if you should eat now or wait, or if fullness means you did something wrong. Diet culture has made something God designed with wisdom feel way more complicated than it needs to be.

In today’s episode, you’ll hear the third mini conversation in my summer series with my six-year-old daughter. We’re talking about hunger cues, fullness cues, gymnastics snacks, post-activity hunger, and the very real spiritual gift of not becoming hangry in the car. It’s sweet, honest, unscripted, and such a simple reminder that your body is not a problem to control.  It’s something you can learn to care for.

A few things you can expect to hear in this episode include…

🤸‍♀️ Why gymnastics makes Callie extra hungry afterward

😅 The very honest connection between hunger and whining

🍕 A real-life moment of waiting on pizza when everyone’s ready for dinner

💛 A simple conversation about how hunger and fullness actually feel in your body

🎙️ A reminder that listening to your body can start small, simple, and pressure-free
