In today's show, I continue examining the death of Nolan Wells and present three additional points that, in my opinion, raise serious questions about the investigation.
First, I discuss 18 U.S.C. § 1512(c), the federal statute covering evidence tampering and obstruction. I explain why I believe the reported handling of Nolan's phone and other potential evidence deserves close scrutiny and why I think investigators should fully examine whether any laws may have been violated.
Second, I break down comments made by Nolan Wells' best friend, Javon, during his interview with TMZ. According to Javon, he had not yet been questioned by Mississippi investigators despite being Nolan's best friend and being present on the island interacting with Nolan and the boys shortly before Nolan disappeared. I discuss why I believe that raises significant questions about the thoroughness of the investigation.
Finally, I examine a video from a Mississippi judge analyzing statements made by Judge Ashley Cole, who has been identified as Warren's stepmother. I discuss the judge's legal analysis and explain why I believe those statements deserve further review.
Combined with the four points I presented yesterday, I have now outlined seven reasons why I believe this investigation should move forward aggressively. I explain why I believe law enforcement should continue pursuing all available evidence and why I think the public deserves clear answers about what happened to Nolan Wells.
