Attorney Benjamin Crump, Nolan Wells’ parents, and members of their legal team held a press conference today to provide an update on the investigation into Nolan’s death. During the press conference, they discussed the next steps in the case, including the possibility that the case could be presented to a grand jury once the investigation is complete. They also addressed the ongoing review of Nolan’s cellphone and explained that both sides would have the opportunity to inspect the device.

The legal team also responded to questions surrounding the viral video in which a voice is heard saying, “Give me my freaking phone,” as well as the widely discussed pool photo that has circulated online in recent days.

On today’s show, we also examine a new controversy involving Traceton Shepherd, who publicly claimed to be Nolan’s best friend. However, Nolan’s mother later stated that she does not even know who Traceton is. We break down both statements and discuss the questions they raise.

In addition, Nolan Wells’ assistant head coach has now publicly spoken about the case. We review what he said and discuss why his comments are generating conversation online.

We also share details regarding Nolan Wells’ funeral service, which is scheduled to take place on July 20.

Finally, one of the biggest developments in the investigation is that the FBI is now officially assisting in the case. We discuss what that could mean as investigators continue to gather evidence.
