Crater Lake in Oregon is one of America’s most beautiful natural wonders, but its history is filled with darker stories. Formed inside the collapsed remains of Mount Mazama, the lake is tied to Klamath sacred tradition, stories of Llao and Skell, vanished aircraft, an unsolved double murder, and the strange floating figure known as the Old Man of the Lake.
