The Bleeding Houses | The Atlanta Blood House and La Plata’s House of Blood

In 1986, blood began to rise from the floor of a family photography shop in La Plata, Argentina, drawing police, priests, believers and frightened neighbours to a house suddenly treated as both crime scene and shrine. Less than a year later, in Atlanta, Georgia, another ordinary home became known as the Blood House when human blood appeared across its floors and walls, with no body, no injury, no break-in, and no explanation.
