Too Long, Didn’t Listen (TLDL):
Grief happens in waves. Sometimes the waves are one right after another, and sometimes there are long periods between them. Some are massive like a tidal wave and some are barely ankle deep.
We grieve the loss of something, but we may also need to grieve the version of us that existed when we had that thing.
We don't allow ourselves to feel something unless our brain can justify it, and if the ego doesn't get the answer it likes, it doesn't allow you to feel the thing.
When we try to THINK, we get ourselves out of FEELING.
What pieces of you did you let go of when you had to let go of that person/place/thing?
