It's time for a solo girlie catch-up!
In this episode, I'm sharing a life and health update, chatting honestly about where I'm at right now and everything that's been going on behind the scenes.
This episode is less of a deep dive and more of an honest catch-up, as well as a reminder that health isn't always linear, and sometimes the best thing we can do is listen to our bodies, be patient, and take things one step at a time.
I've recently been told that I have SIBO and therefore I am on the Low FODMAP diet in order to reset my body, stop the bloating and then re-introduce different food groups one at a time in order to identify what is causing the issues. On top of that I am taking lots of natural supplements in order to reduce my symptoms, digestive enzymes to help me break down my food properly and prebiotics in order to support the gut in the process.
The topics we discuss are:
- Bloating
- SIBO
- Low FODMAP diet
- My experience with a systematic kinesiologist
- Contraception
- The Mirena Coil
- Workouts and what I'm loving
- Kitchen utensil swaps that you need to do
If you've been navigating gut issues, hormonal health, or simply trying to find a routine that feels good, I hope this episode makes you feel a little less alone as well as inspires you to make some healthy swaps and changes
