campfire_knight: (Basically besides Wii Sports,) What are your favorite games with mandatory motion controls?While I personally do have a soft spot for Zelda Skyward Sword and its less motion control dependent predecessor, Twilight Princess on the Wii, i also have fond memories of the campaign mode for Call Of Duty 3 on Wii. But if we are talking about using your Wii Remote to aim a virtual gun, I have to give the award for best usage to Resident Evil 4 on the Wii and of course the Metroid Prime Trilogy. Shooting zombies or space pirates never felt so good!! But while all of these are some of the best of the best of the motion control era of gaming, my true favorite lies within a much more lesser known title found on the 3DS (and I think PS Vita) made by Drinkbox Studios. That game is Severed--a game about battling your way through a purgatory-like dreamworld full of demons that you slice and dice with a sword using your stylus! The game's main themes are dealing with trauma, revenge, and loss. And of course, it all ends with acceptance. 💝 😇 Can't spoil it here, but the game really impacted me. At the time I played, I was going through some loss as well. So it kinda has a special place in my heart.

RaxonXVI: Since Marvel was mentioned last week, who is a character that isn’t in the MCU yet that you’d love to see in Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars? Since it’s a mash-up of different universes, it could be anyone. And a part 2: Who is your Marvel waifu? For me, Gwenpool for both (but my god does Rivals Jubilee just WOW).
