Bailey: Are there any specific tropes, themes, or story elements in games that you feel like have been overdone lately? Any that you’re getting a little tired of? My answer to this doesn’t necessarily apply to new games, but a few games I’ve played somewhat recently all have had the “becomes a good dad to a character that is not their biological daughter” trope and I’m getting mildly sick of it lol (twd, pragmata, tlou) It’s not that I think it’s bad, I’ve absolutely loved all of these games, but I’m definitely ready to not see it in a game for a minute.
jtlawbass the unc: If you could rent out a movie theater to play one game on the big screen, which game would you pick? I would choose either Uncharted 4 since it’s so cinematic or I’d pick Halo if the boys from college can come so we can play split-screen one more time on the biggest of screens.
