RaxonXVI: What was something that should have been great but let you down, and was there something by someone else that filled the void created by that failure? One for me is Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland; idk what happened but man Alice there has the emotional range of a dying fish… but American McGee saved the day with Madness Returns.
RaxonXVI: Do you think the term “video game” fits? To me something like Rocket League does, but a game like Persona not so much. It’s so much more. I think of a game being something like a card or board game where it’s just a simple experience with you and some friends to pass time and have fun, but video games now have such deep stories and things that make it to me feel like it’s something else—but what should they be called then?
Bailey: Since we are in the last few weeks before GTA VI is released, what are your predictions for how it’s going to be received by fans and just players in general? Do you think people are going to over-criticize it because of unrealistic expectations and how much hype has built up over the years? Or do you think it’ll be the opposite and people will overlook some of its flaws because they’re just so excited to finally be playing GTA VI? I definitely feel like lately people have loved to complain so I’m betting we will see a lot of over-the-top hate/rage bait. But overall I feel like reactions are probably going to be all over the place haha.
