Mike Sauers is a Navy SEAL Combat Veteran who served 13 years on active duty. Mike is also the Founder/CEO of Forged® and the Co-Founder of The Murph Challenge®.
During his time in the SEAL Teams, Mike served on both the East and West Coast, where he conducted multiple combat deployments. Shortly after leaving active duty to pursue his entrepreneurial endeavors, Mike was called back to service as a civilian contracted SEAL instructor. He simultaneously juggled his duties as a BUD/s instructor and full-time entrepreneur of Forged® and The Murph Challenge® until 2015 when he departed instructor duty to focus entirely on his businesses.
Founded in 2007, Forged® is one of the early pioneers of the patriotic military-inspired apparel industry. Over the past 15 years, Forged® has helped raise millions of dollars for military veterans, law enforcement officers, and their families through various campaigns. In 2014, Forged® partnered with the LT Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation and launched The Murph Challenge®. To date, Forged® has raised over $1,800,000 for the LT Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation & The Murph SEAL Museum through The Murph Challenge® campaign.
