From editor and publisher to creator, David Hedgecock has spent his career helping shape comics from nearly every angle. On this episode, David joins the Bandits to reflect on his time at Ape Entertainment and IDW, the lessons he learned working across publishing and editorial, and how those experiences eventually led him back to creator-owned storytelling. The conversation then turns to Miss Mina and the Midnight Guardians, his gothic adventure series that reimagines Mina Murray as the leader of a team of monstrous misfits battling Dracula’s forces. David discusses the evolution of the series, building its mix of horror, action, and steampunk adventure, and where the story is headed next.

The latest chapter of Miss Mina is in its closing days of a Kickstarter campaign, so be sure to back it today: http://kck.st/4h3hjOh. You can follow David on Instagram @dehedgecock and his imprint Fun Time Go! on funtimego.com and most major socials.
