Hello guys and welcome back to another Fringe in Fifteen!

A series dedicated to fringe artists across the UK and beyond, giving them a fifteen minute elevator pitch style interview promoting what their show is about and where people can see it.

Today we welcome along Eliza Allen and her show “10A: The Fitting Room”, live at the Edinburgh Fringe (at the Tonic, The Caves and The Spare Room) until 30th August and then at the Etcetera Theatre in Camden on 11th and 12th September.

The show is about ‘Liz’ who “defines herself as a raging feminist. Somewhere between fitting first bras and nursing bras, she ends up in an abusive relationship. The lingerie fitting room is an exclusively female space, and through meeting and helping other women, Liz redefines her iden-titty.

It redefines womanhood, domestic abuse, and challenges the idea of feminism in a world where the term is frequently used but seldom defined. Tonally, it's like 'Fleabag' and 'Prima Facie' had an Australian baby swaddled in lingerie.

This is an original piece, debuting at Edinburgh Fringe. It is based on the writer and performer’s personal story. Eliza Allen was a bra fitter for eight years, and this play is inspired by real events and people she met and worked with.” (Quote from official blurb of the show).

Tickets available now via edfringe.com and instagram pages @10a_thefittingroom and @etcetera_theatre_camden
