Gonzaga Bulldogs' big man pipeline faces a pivotal question: Can Parker Jefferson become Mark Few’s next breakout forward? After a redshirt year and a low-profile start, Jefferson looks to follow in the footsteps of celebrated Zags bigs like Drew Timme and Braden Huff. Andy Patton examines Jefferson’s journey from Texas to Spokane, his connection to the Timme family, and his under-the-radar recruiting history.
Key topics include best- and worst-case scenarios for Jefferson’s role in Gonzaga’s rotation, the impact of Izan Almansa’s eligibility, and how the Bulldogs’ frontcourt hierarchy shapes up. Patton spotlights Jefferson’s strengths—footwork, touch, and potential three-point shooting—as well as concerns about his athleticism and defensive fit in high-leverage matchups. As Gonzaga targets another deep NCAA run, will Jefferson seize his moment or be overshadowed by incoming talent? Don’t miss this strategic breakdown of the Zags’ evolving lineup.
