Gonzaga Bulldogs face skepticism in the latest KenPom preseason rankings—are they being undervalued, or will roster uncertainty hold them back from top-10 contention? Andy Patton breaks down why Mark Few’s team sits at No. 14, analyzing key additions like Massamba Diop and rising star Davis Fogle, plus the analytics split between KenPom, Bart Torvik, and EvanMiya. With deep dives into Pac-12 strength, Quad 1 and Quad 2 opportunities, and what the conference switch could mean for Gonzaga's tournament résumé, the stakes for the Zags’ championship ambitions are higher than ever.
Recruiting struggles in California continue as high-priority target Gene Roebuck commits to Cal, leaving Gonzaga’s win rate in the Golden State at just 17% since 2018. Andy Patton examines the broader recruiting landscape, while celebrating Gonzaga women’s basketball Fan Fest—highlighted by WNBA standout Azzi Fudd’s special guest appearance and returns from veteran stars. Are the Zags ready to defy preseason doubts and reclaim elite status?
