Shalom LLoyd MBE is a pharmacist and a scientist, she has founded a business called EMQT, working with global clinical trials.
She set her business up and changed her career path after the death of her Father 5 years ago. When he became sick, she could have asked him to be involved in a clinical trial, but she could not find any that would have been suitable for her Dad. Only 3% of Africans are included in clinical trials.
She shares that although research is meant to be Global, they are not seen to be viable to be run un Africa.
Shalom has also developed her own skincare range which she wants to run ethically, supporting the producers, and she can trace her ingredients back to the source.
She is passionate about skin health and wellbeing,a and is a role model for Women who are thinking about starting their own business.
