Lane Kiffin and LSU have a POINT TO PROVE w/ Jacques Doucet | Will Wade has HIS SQUAD w/ Glen West

Lane Kiffin & LSU Football: "A Point to Prove" WAFB sports director Jacques Doucet joined the show to break down Lane Kiffin's intense first season at LSU. Coming off a frustrating 35-34 overtime loss to Kentucky that dropped the Tigers to 4-2, Kiffin and LSU have a massive point to prove as they prepare to face Auburn. Will Wade & LSU Basketball: "His Squad" On the basketball side, On3 beat writer Glen West broke down Will Wade's highly anticipated return to Baton Rouge and the construction of his 2026–2027 roster. True to form, Wade has been completely unapologetic about taking an unconventional, aggressive approach to building his team via the transfer portal and international talent. Key roster updates from Glen West include: • The RJ Luis Decision: LSU has officially given up its months-long eligibility battle for star guard RJ Luis after the SEC held firm on its rules regarding players returning to college after signing NBA contracts. • The Silver Linings: While losing Luis hurts, Wade secured a massive win as Italian forward and former Cleveland Cavaliers draft pick Saliou Niang was officially ruled eligible by the NCAA. Seven-foot French center Brice Dessert is also expected to be cleared shortly, giving Wade a powerful, dangerous core ahead of their November 3 season opener against New Orleans.
