Season 6, Episode 19: Interview with Arnold Chun (Kotomichi) from “The Man in the High Castle” (2015-2019)

The Man in the High Castle is a dark, often uneasy look at what might have been with so many likelihoods. I had the honor and pleasure to sit down with Arnold Chun who portrays “Kotomichi” a character who was the quiet heart of that show. He and I peeled back the onion to reveal the concept of the show and the brilliant mind of the creator. Although there is a fine line between what is real and what is the alternate timeline, the line is not invisible, and this show is the prime example of what could happen if that line is crossed.

I cannot empathize enough how much I love this show; it’s the ensemble of actors, the dialogue, the story line, the plot twists, the what ifs, the production and more importantly, how this series changed everything we knew about that era. Overall, it is a magnificent work of science fiction and alternate history, meaning it imagines a scenario where historical events played out differently.
